Retsnom—”monster” spelled backwards—lives in our world where it’s the monster’s job to protect humans by scaring off bad guys. But Retsnom has a problem: she’s only 5 inches tall, and the bad guys just look at her, laugh, and go on about being bad.
After a couple of years of discouragement, a new breed of bad guys arrives: alien rats from further than Mars who have come to eat all of our cake and candy bars! The Army is having a hard time fighting them off because they’re little and hide in the cracks in the walls and under the floors. That’s when Retsnom is called in to save the day, discovering her special purpose of scaring off small bad guys.
The Moral: Everyone has a special purpose, but it just takes some of us a little longer to figure it out.
